Happy 2014 to all of you! I wish you all the best in these rough times.

2013 was a mixed year for me: Many preparations, lots of work and a lot of stress to have everything done nicely. Thankfully, things are flowing smooth at the moment, and although I can see my life not being any less busy in the near future, everything seems to be working like a clock.

The pre-productions of the next AmongRuins album are complete. It was a tiring procedure, but we now have the basis for a really great album. When the production credits are revealed, I am sure you will agree with me about it ;)

But that doesn't mean work is over! We are on the final stages of preparations about the "mysterious new act", and announcements will be made soon. Very soon. Some of you have heard rumors, some of you already suspect something, and some of you know a few facts already. The wait is almost over!

And of course, even more work awaits! In a few weeks we start working on a new Nordor album, we assure you that our next hell-spawned creation will be something to remember!

 Summer is almost over, but to be honest, I haven't felt the slightest relaxation summertime is supposed to bring. A lot of things are going on, and I hate to keep people waiting (as I hate waiting myself), but rushing things up won't do any good!

 First of all, we are preparing something really cool with AmongRuins. During the next few days, you'll see what I am talking about, keep your eyes open!

 As for the abyss of Nordor, all I can say is that we are currently working on both new material, and reworking existing material with 2 basses. The result is KILLER, as you can hear in this video presenting our second bassist, Tragos.

 We are also working on new material with Desert Near the End. The new stuff is faster & heavier, can't wait to perform those songs live!

 In addition, over a dozen singers have applied for the auditions of the new female-fronted band we are preparing, and compositions for the album are nearly complete.

So, July is here for good, and a lot of stuff is going on.

First of all, we held a new photosession with NORDOR. You can see the new pictures in this facebook album. The main reason of this photoshoot was the addition of Tragos, a second bassist to our ranks. Wondering how this will sound? Check here! Composition of the new upcoming album has already begun, I will keep you updated on that.

Preparations are taking place with AmongRuins, live dates are being booked for mid-late October in Greece. Stay tuned for updates!

We are resuming composition for the album of the new female-fronted project this week. The name of the project will be revealed after the singer auditions in September, stay tuned for more information on that!

It's going to be a busy summer, and hopefully this will mean a kickass new season this autumn!

This Spring has been quite busy, musically. Lots of stuff happened, and a lot of stuff is about to happen. I don't know where to start from!

On March 31st, I played both with Nordor and AmongRuins in Metal Voltage Festival in Athens, Greece. I was quite worried, because I had never played with 2 extreme metal bands on the same gig. Fortunately, I made it, and it was a great experience! It is worth mentioning that it was our first live gig ever with AmongRuins, we were very stressed, but in the end, all went smoothly. A big "thank you" to all our supporters in this entirely new thing for us!


I got a new collaboration I would like to share with you from here as well. I got hired by Desert Near the End, with whom I played 2 shows, one in Athens, and one in Cyprus, supporting my dear friends, BLYND. We had an awesome time in Nicosia, can't wait to see those crazy Cypriot people again!

That's all about the near past, and now it's time to refer to near future plans, and damn, there is a whole bunch of them, it's gonna be a busy summer!

With NORDOR, we are beginning composing the next album. There is a lot of material, a lot of ideas, and like always, we will try to take our sound a step further. A quite more important new, though, is the addition of a new member in our ranks! I won't reveal more, I will just say that you can't imagine what an addition it is! We will soon reveal the new member, so stay tuned!

Waiting for the release of the debut album of AmongRuins doesn't mean that we sit idle. We are making plans and schedules for future performances, so expect to hear from us soon!

Also, it's time to reveal something especially for the fans of female-fronted metal, and admirers of my earlier work. Along with Sverd, Thanos & George, we decided sometime ago to make something new in that, familiar scene to us, along with Kirk (Orion's Reign). I won't reveal much, other than the fact that we have composed the majority of an album, expected to be complete by September, when we will hold an audition for a singer. We will take our time, as obligations with AmongRuins and Nordor (and the guys' other ongoing works) demand a great deal of time and work for the time being.

For the first time, I will be performing with 2 bands in the same festival, which is a huge challenge, as both NORDOR and AMONGRUINS are demanding in the terms of live drumming. Moreover, it will be the first time on stage with AMONGRUINS, marking March 31 2013 as an important date in my musical journey. Hell is gonna break loose!

These days, we are rehearsing with AmongRuins for that first performance, preparing some killer merch, and other, mysterious things are also taking place. Something new is in the making as well, can't really say anything yet though. In time, all will be revealed!

Preparations for the first AMONG RUINS shows are complete. The band is ready to kick ass on stage! Moreover, 2 new collaborations will be announced soon, as well as NORDOR and AMONG RUINS live dates. Stay tuned!

October was a busy month, and so is November being so far! I had a great time in Belgium, this year's MFVF was just great!

I went there with my dear friend Angel (with whom I played in BARE INFINITY), met old friends (such as the ever popular Mich -SKEPTICAL MINDS-, and lovely Lisa Middelhauve -ex XANDRIA-), and made a bunch of insane new ones.

A week later, the first part of the NORDOR Hellenic tour began. The most remarkable memories are definitely from Crete: The bass amp catching fire(!!!), and the LOTS of drinking afterwards. Cretans are simply nuts!

Further news from the front, the first video clip of AMONGRUINS is nearly complete, soon you will soon be able to watch it.

In the near future, I will play live percussion for Vincent Andelmoth's (ex-Bare Infinity) TBM-Industrial band "HYDRA DIVISION V" in 2 shows, 1 in Athens, and 1 in Crete. Yes, Crete again! Can't wait to see the crazy Cretan gang again, and this time I'd better secure a liver in the black market..!

So I returned from Belgium a couple of days ago, where I spent some quality time with old and new friends. Metal Female Voices Fest 10 was awesome, I am looking forward to meeting all those great people again.

2 upcoming NORDOR shows soon, one on Saturday in Rethymno, Crete (GR), and one next Saturday in Thessaloniki (GR). I am looking forward to these shows, as it has been a while since we last performed.

Upon returning, I will resume working on a "mysterious" project. You will not hear details for quite some time, but I can assure you it's gonna pleasantly surprise you all!
